Razor Returns basics for the first spin

Pick Razor Returns for an Ocean and Sharks slot on a 5x5 grid with five symbols per reel. The symbols run from orange and pink sharks and a green fish-monster to a diving helmet, a wrench, a clam and an anchor. Three matching symbols start a win on any of the 40 fixed paylines, read from left to right. Wins pay on the total base bet, not per line.

Pick the Push Bet toggle for a higher trigger chance. It adds 10% to the base bet, and it switches off only at a round's end. Three or more Torpedo Symbols start the Free Spins Feature at x1, x5 or x25 for three, four or five symbols. Mystery Symbols nudge down one position per spin, and each nudge adds 1 to the Total Multiplier.

Deciding Whether to Switch On

Turn Push Bet on when you want a bigger chance at Free Spins. It raises the Base Bet by 10%, which increases the chance of triggering the Free Spins Feature. It can only be switched off at the end of a round, and it changes the RTP.

Land 3 Torpedo Symbols to Start

Keep spinning in Base Game or Razor Reveal until 3+ Torpedo Symbols start the Free Spins. 3, 4 or 5 Torpedo Symbols set Total Multiplier at x1, x5 or x25. Reels 2 and 4 seed 10 Mystery Symbols, nudging down 1 position per spin and adding 1 to the Total Multiplier.

Choosing Whether to Risk It

Decide in the game whether to put a win at stake again through the Gamble Feature. The Gamble Feature is the mode where a win can be risked, and the choice is made on screen. Check the screen before you accept the risk.

Skip the Wait, Start at x1

Buy 3 Torpedo Free Spins if you want to skip the wait for 3 Torpedo Symbols. It costs 106x Base Bet and starts the Total Multiplier at x1. The RTP is 95.99% with Gamble Feature and 96.27% without it.

Razor Returns mechanics

Five steps from reel to bonus

Read this before your first spin, when you pick a bet and set a limit.

  1. Can Push Bet switch off mid-round?

Pick your bet between A$0.10 and A$100 before the first spin. Push Bet raises the base bet by 10% and can only be switched off at the end of a round.

  2. Per payline versus total bet

Line up three or more matching symbols from left to right on the 5x5 grid. Wins pay on the total bet, not per payline.

  3. Wild Shark Symbol and Scatter

Watch for the Wild Shark Symbol, Scatter and Multiplier Spots. The game also lists Respin, Money Collect, Nudge, Progressive Multiplier and the Gamble Feature among its features.

  4. Torpedo Symbols and Total Multiplier

Watch the grid for Torpedo Symbols. Three start the Free Spins Feature at Total Multiplier x1, four at x5 and five at x25, and no one knows in advance when that happens.

  5. How long will the session last?

Set your loss limit and session time before the first spin. Free Spins can arrive on any spin, so the limit has to be set before the bonus, not during it.

Demo first, then real money

Play for real

Plan each session without a promised outcome

Decide your stake knowing that the Free Spins Feature has no set schedule. How often the bonus round comes is not known in advance. Each spin is random, so the result of one session is random as well, whatever the RTP shown in the game rules. Treat any run of quiet spins as normal and any early bonus as chance.

Check the RTP version in the game rules before you place a bet. The version running on this game is shown only there, not on the reels. Read the rules once, because the version decides the return percentage you are playing on. A higher RTP does not guarantee a win in any single session.

Treat the maximum win as a ceiling that is reached very rarely. Its size is set as a multiple of the bet, so the money amount rises with the stake. No player can plan a path to it. Plan around the amount you can afford to lose, and treat a large win as a result, not a target.

Know the limits

Razor Returns answers before your first bet

Read this before the first spin, or before you buy into the bonus round.

What is the minimum and maximum bet on Razor Returns?

Razor Returns accepts stakes from A$0.10 to A$100 per spin. Wins are paid on the Total base bet, not per payline, so the bet sets every payout. Turning on the Push Bet raises the base bet by 10%.

What is the maximum win on Razor Returns?

The top prize is 100,000 times the bet. At A$10 that is A$1,000,000, and at the A$100 maximum bet it reaches A$10,000,000. Whether a session comes near that figure cannot be known in advance.

How volatile is Razor Returns, high or low?

Razor Returns is a high volatility slot. High volatility means payouts are uneven: long dry spells can happen, and one round can bring a large win. Nobody can know in advance how a session will go.

Can I buy the Razor Returns bonus round, and what does it cost?

Yes. Buy 3 Torpedo Free Spins costs 106 times the Base Bet, and Buy 4 Torpedo Free Spins costs 186 times. Buying starts the feature directly, but the result of a bought round cannot be known in advance.

Players must be 18+. Get help from the National Gambling Helpline on 1800 858 858, or join BetStop, the national self-exclusion register.

Can you afford this session?

Decide how much you can afford to lose before the first spin. Once that amount is gone, stop for the session.

Stop after a big win?

Pick your stopping point before the first spin. A big win is no reason to play on past it.

Limits set before, not during

Set deposit and loss limits in your account before you open a session. Raising them mid-game is a sign to stop, not to continue.

Step back before the chase

Take a break as soon as the spins feel like a chore or a chase. If breaks stop helping, self-exclusion is the next step.
